The studio
A quiet room, five chairs, and time to do the work well.
Aurelia opened in 2016 above a bookbinder's on Marlowe Court, with one chair and a waiting list written in pencil. Very little about the intention has changed.

Our story
Founded on a quiet objection.
Elise Marchetti had spent a decade in large city salons where three guests shared a stylist and nobody quite had time to ask the right questions. Aurelia was her answer: fewer chairs, longer appointments, and colour mixed in real daylight.
The studio grew slowly and deliberately. Rowan joined in the first year to build the colour department; Nadia opened the lower treatment room in 2019 after guests kept asking whether we could look after their skin as carefully as their hair.
Today we look after around ninety regular guests. We plan hair across the year together — cuts, colour refreshes and treatments mapped out at your first visit — so each appointment continues the last rather than starting over.
What we hold to
Three things we don't compromise.
One guest at a time
We never double-book a chair. Your appointment belongs to you, from consultation through to the final mirror.
Colour in daylight
Every formula is mixed and checked beside a north-facing window, so what you see in the studio is what you see outside it.
Longevity over trend
We plan a full year of appointments together, so each visit builds on the last instead of starting again.
The team
Three specialists, no juniors on the floor.
Every guest is looked after by a senior member of the team from consultation through to finish.

Elise Marchetti
Founder & Creative Director
Eighteen years behind the chair, including nine seasons backstage in Milan. Elise leads every restyle consultation personally.
Rowan Whitfield
Head of Colour
A specialist in corrective and lived-in colour, Rowan trained under two master colourists before joining the studio in its first year.
Nadia Okoye
Senior Skin Therapist
Nadia builds long-term skin plans rather than one-off facials, drawing on a clinical aesthetics background.
